Check out Grant Morrison’s new website. His old website had gone so long without an update, I’d assumed that he’d forgotten about the interweb.
Not only has he not forgotten, the newly revamped website is quite nice. The archives feature a list of everything he’s ever written, photos, etc, etc. Best of all, if you register for exclusive content, you can access a special section that isn’t available to casual readers. This includes… gasp!… a blog!
While a wide range of comic book creators (most notably Warren Ellis, Internet Jesus) have been online for a long time now, Grant’s avoided traditional blogging. No more, it seems. Sign up and dig in. The beautifully worded and gushing review for THE DARK KNIGHT puts all of the clumsy fanboy blog-posts to shame. I hope he keeps up with it and continues posting his thoughts behind his work and music recommendations (Mutton Birds?) Although, we’ll see. It may not last. Few blogs do.
I’m pumped. Plus, I’m in on the ground floor. From the first entry: “Ah… you found us! Consider yourself the first of what’s sure to become a privileged band of international smug elitists!”
Apperò. Io, dopo Batman #678, ho solo una cosa da dire: Zur-En-Arrh (genio. Punto.)
